Hex
This past Saturday I was out and about running a couple of errands when I realized I needed to gas up my car. So I went to the gas station and, what do you know, it was packed. Ugh, but I digress...I found an empty spot and proceeded to park my vehicle. Just as I was about to get out of my car I hear a honk behind me and see this Asian lady in a mini-van honking at me and signaling with her hand for me to move. Now normally I would just move and let her have the gas pump behind me but she was so damn rude! She kept on "shooing" me even after I got out of the car and told her to go around me because there was an empty gas pump in front of me. I guess she didn't like that response because she just proceeded to stare me down and keep her mini-van behind my vehicle...then I just proceeded to pump gas into my vehicle. You would think this would be a hint for her to move and get her own pump but she continued to just stare at me. I was half way through pumping gas when she finally realized (I guess) that I would not be moving. She starts moving her vehicle ever so slowly and proceeds to roll down her window, stare at me and slowly start spewing some words in Korean while making these movements with her fingers. It reminded me of old movies where a "gypsy" would "curse" a person. Well after she put a "hex" on me, she proceeded to stick out her middle finger and say "Fuck you!" Now, anyone who knows me knows that I am a nice person but this time enough is enough. I told her that I didn't understand Korean (I know it was Korean because of the usage of vowels) and since I didn't understand her I was going to tell it to her in Spanish and so I did...told her a few choice words. She then left the gas station. I was able to get gas and in the process had a "hex" placed on me...and she didn't even pump any gas! Ugh! But enough of my ranting...just wanted to post this up because I thought it was pretty funny and peculiar at the same time.
